Mrs. June Dedon Turns 103

June Lillie McLin Dedon was born to Charles Gova McLin and Agnes Eby Watts McLin on Monday, June 20, 1921, in Doyle, Louisiana. June had three sisters: Magdalene McLin Chambers, Norma McLin Hood, and Glenice McLin Story. She attended school in Doyle, Louisiana, during her academic years.

June Jamboree

Live to Love for Life, a community organization based in Hammond, will host its first-ever June Jamboree on Saturday, June 22, from 11:00am to 3:00pm at the Martin Luther King Pavillion located at 600 MLK Drive in Hammond.
