Missed and loved the most by Monica Orick My sweet Frankie rescued me in 2021 at a critical point in my life. She brought me a surrogate love that has enriched my life since the day she became a part of it. Sadly, she passed away on Saturday afternoon after ten years of a beautiful life.

There are days where, even after almost two decades of running a bird rescue, I am uncertain about the identity of a baby bird that comes in. Usually, texting a photo of a hatchling to another rescuer or rehabber is all it takes, but what about the ones that no one seems able to identify?
