For the younger generations, controlling emotions may be difficult, and through no fault of their own. They simply weren’t taught. The number of people who can’t keep calm and abstain from reacting even to a mild issue is rising.

In honor of Arbor Day, Gardenettes presented a large live oak to the City of Ponchatoula on January 16. Mayor Wesley Daniels received the tree and plans to locate it in Memorial Park.Gardenettes are members of District VI, Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc.
