This is my Daddy, Louis (Ory) Jenkins (1909-1980), and the house he built for himself in Ponchatoula in 1938 before the war. He was a star running back for the Ponchatoula High Green Wave and president of his senior class of 1930. He played shortstop for the Ponchatoula Athletics.
