At right, Queen Christina Larkin of Omega XXXVIII, shown at the parade lineup, threw special magnets, beads, wrist bands and other baubles custom designed by Ponchatoula artist, Mandy Mae Poche. The Krewe of Omega Parade rolled through the streets of Hammond on Friday.

On Friday, February 2, 2024, a night with near perfect weather and excitement high, the Krewe of Omega provided a monumental spectacle for parade-goers in Hammond. Thousands filled the streets of Downtown in anticipation of beautiful electrified floats, thunderous marching bands, and more energy than the entire Greek alphabet. The magnificence of Omega XXXVIII shattered anyone’s expectations....
