At their monthly meeting, the Amite River Basin Commission (ARBC) approved several resolutions to help advance the Upper Amite Restoration project, received an update on the St. James West Shore Connector Levee, and bid farewell to Commissioner Ed Parker (East Feliciana) for his years of service.
The ARBC unanimously approved the following resolutions: Resolution 1190 – a technical correction to a previously approved resolution authorizing the ARBC to engage professional services for acquisition, title work and other related services for property located in the Amite River Basin.
Resolution 1192 – authorizing the ARBC to engage professional services for a phase 1 environmental assessment for property located in the Amite River Basin.
