    Saturday, June 29, 2024, was a warm but beautiful day in Tangipahoa Parish, and the Parish Courthouse in Amite provided the backdrop for a momentous event. For the first time in 20 years, Tangipahoa Parish has a new Sheriff – Gerald D.
