PART 2 of 2 Times Report
Louisiana state law requires District and Major Election Candidates† to electronically submit their campaign finance reports. Any Other Office Candidates† may file by postal mail. All reports must have been electronically submitted or postmarked by September 14, 2023. As of the date of The Ponchatoula Times’ last query of the Office of Campaign Finance on September 23, 2023, five candidates’ reports were unavailable, as indicated in the table below.
According to the Office of Campaign Finance, candidates who are officially unopposed were not required to submit updated campaign finance data by the September 14 deadline. For the sake of brevity, the following unopposed candidates have been omitted from this report: Nicky Muscarello, State Representative, District 86; Louis “Nick” Joseph, Parish Council, District 3; Buddy Ridgel, Parish Council, District 5; Joey Mayeaux, Parish Council, District 6; David Vial, Parish Council, District 8; Brigette Delatte Hyde, Parish Council, District 9.
