Lady Lions stake their claim as top cats in the SLC For the second straight year, the Southeastern Lady Lions are the top cats in the Southland Conference. Last Thursday Night, SLU clinched at least a share of the crown with a 3-0 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 25-23, 21-19 and 2521.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) has arrested a Kentwood man accused of raping a juvenile. Marcus Elzie, 34, was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Tuesday, October 29, on one count of 2nd Degree Rape.
