I just had my second encounter with a home that had a bat family residing in the attic. The first was a home on the water in Springfield. The neighbors loved the house because they considered the bats fun to watch, and they kept the mosquitoes and other pesky insects away.

On Saturday, a slow start and stiff defense by visiting Texas A&M Commerce were too much to overcome for the Southeastern Lions basketball team, which dropped a 68-52 decision.
