What am I missing here? Something simply doesn’t make sense. There are many gas wells in America extracting CO2 for use in industry, like fire extinguishers, dry ice, and many other things. Meanwhile, Air Products is making CO2 as a waste product and plans to inject it under Lake Maurepas.

Strader Dufreche Cieutat is sworn in by Judge Jeff Johnson, who was the last person to swear in her father, former Tangipahoa Clerk of Court, Julian Dufreche, in 2016. In support at the podium were Johnny Cieutat, Strader’s husband; and their two daughters, Gabriella and Helena (not visible in photo). During the ceremony, Strader symbolically wore a strawberry pin once worn by her father.
