On October 13, 2025, at approximately 1:20am, Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop L responded to a single- vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Interstate 12 near the LA Hwy 1249 in Tangipahoa Parish. The crash ultimately claimed the life of 24-year-old Dentreal A. Mouton of Lafayette.
