The St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Barnell Vanshun Doughty Jr., wanted in connection with a June 27 burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Perrilloux Selected as Southeastern Alumnus of the Year

District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux has been selected as the Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association 2025 Alumnus of the Year. A 1984 graduate of Southeastern, Perrilloux will be honored at the Alumni Association’s annual awards evening Friday, October 17, during Homecoming Week.
