NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO SEWER RATES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Roseland will hold a public hearing on
Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 6:00 pm, in the Roseland City Hall Chambers, located
at 62438 Commercial Street, Roseland, Louisiana 70456. The purpose of the public
hearing is to hear oral testimony and receive written comments regarding adjustments
to the municipal sewer service charges. The proposed adjustment includes a rate
increase necessary to fund ongoing system operations, meet rising infrastructure
maintenance costs, and service critical capital improvements.
All interested property owners and citizens are welcome to attend the public hearing
and express their views, concerns, or support regarding the proposed sewer rate
amendment. Accommodations will be made for person with disabilities and non-En-
glish speaking individuals provided that a 3-day notice is received by the Town of
Roseland. Those citizens unable to attend this hearing may submit their views until
4:00 pm on August 13, 2026.
