6. SUPERINTENDENT REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATION
A. General Updates
Superintendent Updates
· ONCE Paraprofessional Recruitment: We are actively encouraging sign-ups for the ONCE Para program. To expand our applicant pool, we will be mailing letters to district retirees to gauge their interest in returning to serve as ONCE Paraprofessionals.
· Reach University Partnership: We are continuing to promote our partnership with Reach University. This program provides an excellent "earn-and-learn" opportunity, allowing candidates to work within the district while simultaneously completing their degree and certification programs.

Board Member Acknowledgements
· Robin Abrams: Shared information regarding TARCHAMMOND.COM and directed anyone interested to contact her directly.
· Tom Tolar: Congratulated Stacey Barker on receiving the Jake Bailey Award. He also addressed recent issues regarding cashless transactions, urging district administration and all school sites to ensure strict compliance with the new Cashless policy.
· Joey Piazza: Congratulated Stacey Barker on her award and commended all of the interns. He expressed his appreciation for the new air-conditioned buses and highlighted the district's continued forward progress.
· Jerry Moore: Extended a shout-out to all district teachers, emphasizing that they make the biggest impact on students. He also congratulated Stacey Barker on her award, thanking her for making a difference every day.
· Rose Dominguez: Echoed the Board's congratulations to Stacey Barker and commended intern Wyatt for his excellent presentation during the meeting.
· Glenn Westmoreland & Brett Duncan: Both echoed the sentiments of the rest of the Board in congratulating Ms. Barker on her award.
· Trent Anthony: Congratulated Stacey Barker and praised the interns, encouraging them to continue their work with the district. He also congratulated Mr. Genco and noted that the public has recognized and appreciated the smooth start to the school year.
