JERRY MILLER SR.

Jerry Miller Sr. of Ponchatoula, LA passed away at the age of 71 on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

He was a graduate of Ponchatoula High School Class of 1971. Jerry was a dedicated employee as the Maintenance Supervisor of TK Valve in Hammond, LA, for over 20 years, where he made many lifelong friends. Always laughing and telling jokes, he was seldom seen without a smile on his face. He was an outdoorsman who loved both hunting and fishing.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, James William Miller Sr.; mother, Lillie Mae Richardson; sister, Dorothy; and his 3 brothers, Johnny, Joey, and JW Jr.

Jerry is survived by his son, Jerry Miller Jr. (Amanda), and his daughter, Sharon Audrey Miller. Jerry loved his five grandchildren, Trey, Emily, Sylas, Abby, and Amelia; as well as his three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Madelyn, and Parker.

He also leaves behind two brothers, Jewell (Sandra) and Bob (Diane).

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 North, Ponchatoula, LA. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 9:00am until the start of the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Pastor Bradley Miller will officiate with interment to follow in Marvin Prevost Cemetery in Loranger.
