As Mark Twain said, “If you don’t like our weather, just wait a minute!” September is here, and with it came the rain. Our eyes were focused on the “nontropical” weather event hanging out in the northwestern Gulf of Mexico. This nameless low-pressure system brought us a few inches of rain last week, and parts of our parish remained under a flood watch through Saturday morning....
