The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) has arrested four people following the implementation of the new Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) taskforce.
The following have been booked on one count each of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor: Nicholas Hines, 43, of Walker Michael Vicknair, 32, of Gonzales Robert Trahan, 33, of Ponchatoula John Gros, Sr., 60, of Mt. Hermon TPSO recently developed an Internet Crimes Against Children unit in collaboration with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office and their ICAC initiative.
For the past two weeks, the work of our ICAC unit identified these individuals who were engaging in illegal sexual conversations with minors online. With assistance from the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Westwego Police Department, all suspects were taken into custody without incident.
