ANNOUNCEMENT OF PUBLIC HEARING OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF TANGIPAHOA PARISH FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 1

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing of Tangipahoa Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 will be held at
its regular meeting place, the Board Room of J. H. Binder Memorial Fire Station at 210 N.E. Central Avenue,
Amite, Louisiana, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. to consider levying additional or increased millage
rates without further voter approval (which will not exceed the millages authorized by electors of this Fire
District) and adopting the adjusted millage rates after reassessment and rolling forward to rates not to exceed
the prior year’s maximum.
