The Tangipahoa Parish School System (TPSS) is now accepting applications for the following:
POSITION: SECRETARY TO THE SUPERINTENDENT AND SCHOOL BOARD (12 Months)
SALARY: $39,110 - $56,551 (Based on verified years of relevant experience, certification, or degree)
- LOCATION: Tangipahoa Parish School Board Office
Amite, LA
CRITERIA: - High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- At least five (5) years of executive-level administrative experience, preferably in a school district or public agency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic filing systems, and records management tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Louisiana public records and retention laws.
- Familiarity with legal documents and property records is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate evening meetings.
