The Town of Kentwood today announced the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purchase and installation of new playground equipment at its Martin Luther King (MLK) community park.  This exciting project aims to provide a safe, engaging, and accessible play environment for children in the community.

The Town is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to procure and install a comprehensive and innovative playground system for children ages 5-12 and 2-5.  The new playground should meet ADA requirements and use IPEMA certified equipment that complies with ASTM and U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission standards. The chosen vendor(s) will coordinate the final design and equipment selection with the relevant department to ensure the project benefits the community.

On September 4, 2025, all responses will be publicly opened and the respondents recorded. Any response received after the specified deadline, whether delivered in person or mailed, will be disqualified. Faxed or electronic submitted responses cannot be accepted.
