NOTICE

The Tangipahoa Parish School System (TPSS) is now accepting applications for the following:

 

POSITION:      Paraprofessional (9 Months)

SALARY:          $19,614 – $30,431   (Based on verified years of relevant experience) 

                        

LOCATION:     To Be Determined

                        

CRITERIA:       

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent 

                        

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly Qualified 
    1. ParaPro Praxis exam with a passing score of 450 or higher
    2. Bachelors degree
    3. Associates Degree in Early Childhood or an Applied Science
    4. 45 College Credits from an Accredited College or University, including:
      1. 3 hours in English Language Arts
      2. 6 hours in Mathematics
      3. 6 hours in Reading
  • Complete a Special Education training course for paraeducators
  • Heartsaver AED Certification (current)
