The Mayor and City Council of the Town of Amite City will hold a public hearing on
Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the regular meeting place, 212 East Oak
Street, Amite, LA for public input on the following ordinances:

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 2 ½% ANNUAL RAISE
FOR AMITE CHIEF OF POLICE
Annual Raise to a salary of $90,791.38 effective January 1, 2026
