A public meeting was held at the Village of Tangipahoa City Hall, 12616 Jackson Street,
Tangipahoa, LA 70465, on October 14, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Gray called the
meeting to order, and the Municipal Clerk Allicie Briggs established a quorum. All the
board members are present. The mayor announced approval of public hearing minutes
for September 9, 2025, and called for a motion to approve. The motion for approval was
given by Alderwoman Bean and seconded by Alderman Smith. Three yays carry the
motion. Mr. Phil Hebert is absent. Chief Martin is absent. Mayor Gray and the Board of
Aldermen recognized various community residents for their volunteer work in the village.
During public comments, Mrs. Arlene Bankston had some concerns of a local business
operating at a warehouse just outside of the city limits of the town. Mayor Gray updated
the board on the completion of the oxidation pond. The meeting was adjourned at 6:26
pm.
