NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Mayor and City Council of the Town of Amite City will hold a public hearing on
Monday, February 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the regular meeting place, 212 East Oak
Street, Amite, LA for public input on the following ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. 01-2026

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 2 ½% ANNUAL RAISE

FOR THE CITY CLERK

City Clerk– Annual Raise to a salary of $59,450.00

ORDINANCE NO. 02-2026

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE MAYOR OF AMITE CITY TO BE A

FULL TIME POSITION WORKING 35 HOURS A WEEK
