PUBLIC NOTICE
OF INTENT TO SUBMIT PERMIT APPLICATION
PINECREST, LLC
INDEPENDENCE, TANGIPAHOA PARISH, LOUISIANA
Notice is hereby given that PineCrest, LLC intends to apply for a Solid Waste Permit
for a Type III Construction and Demolition Debris Transfer Station in accordance with
regulations set forth by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LAC
33:VII). The proposed facility is 5.2 acres and located in Tangipahoa Parish at 10199
LA-442, Independence, LA. The Tangipahoa Parish Council will hold a
public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting on April 13, 2026, at 5:30pm at
the Tangipahoa Parish Gordon A Burgess Building at 206 East Mulberry Street,
Amite, LA 70422.
All Interested Citizens are invited to attend and provide input.
