PUBLIC NOTICE

Body

Although it is believed not necessary, out of an abundance of caution notice is hereby given, pursuant to Article IV,
Section 21(D)(1) of the Louisiana Constitution that on March 25, 2026, Entergy Louisiana, LLC (“ELL”), a public
utility providing retail electric service in various parishes throughout the State of Louisiana, filed with the Louisiana
Public Service Commission (“LPSC”) its Application for Approval of Generation and Transmission Resources and
Other Relief Pursuant to the Commission’s Lightning Initiative, and Request for Timely Treatment.
The filing seeks certification of various generation and transmission-related resources needed in connection with
extending service to a new customer proposing to site a facility in northeast Louisiana. The filing sets forth that no
new rate schedule or rider is being proposed for those resources and that the recovery of costs for those resources is
anticipated to come at no additional cost to ELL’s existing customers, but rather from the new customer through a
Contribution in Aid of Construction Agreement and revenues received from the customer’s participation in ELL’s
standard Large Load, High Load Factor Power Service Rate Schedule. The filing sets forth the various customer
protections and benefits that result from ELL’s service agreement with the customer and from the proposed
resources presented in ELL’s filing, including estimated benefits to customers of more than $2 billion. The filing
further outlines the Company’s execution plan for the construction of the relevant facilities.
For questions and comments regarding ELL’s filing, please call the LPSC toll free at (800) 256-2397. Additionally,
the filing, including its attachments may be viewed in the Records Division of the LPSC at the following address:
