MINUTES OF THE TANGIPAHOA PARISH COUNCIL JUNE 8, 2026 MEETING
The Tangipahoa Parish Council met on the 8th day of June 2026 in Regular Session and was called to order by Ms. Brigette Hyde, Chairwoman at 5:30pm. The Chair asked all cell phones to be muted or turned off.
The Invocation was given by Councilwoman Cieutat, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Joseph.
The following members were PRESENT: Darrell Sinagra, John Ingraffia, Louis Joseph, Buddy Ridgel, Joey Mayeaux, Lionell Wells, David Vial, Brigette Hyde, Strader Cieutat ABSENT: Joe Havis

PARISH PRESIDENT’S REPORT
PROCLAMATION – President Miller recognized the Community Blood Donation efforts during the Semiquincentennial of the United States of America.
APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER #1 – Motion by Mr. Ingraffia, seconded by Mr. Vial to approve change order #1,
no cost increase, scope of work change to tie in the parish jail, courthouse, juvenile courthouse (Hwy 51), tax assessor office, arena, and Roseland public works office, to use the ARPA money allocated for the Middle Mile Broadband Network. President Miller informed the public that the 3rd Annual Youth Fishing Rodeo would be held on Saturday, June 13th at the Zemurray Park in Hammond. He noted that more than 400 youth had registered for the event. The park gates open at 7:30am, fishing begins at 9:00am, and weigh-in between 12:00-12:30pm. President Miller also advised that the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries had stocked the pond to ensure ample fish for the participants.

36-220 and Section 36-223 of the Tangipahoa Parish Code of Ordinances – Derek Quebedeaux, Max Bodin, Inc, 44052 West Pleasant Ridge Rd, Hammond presented MidStream Auto Sales, presently has a Snoball stand, looking to put a single office building and average 6-10 cars, hours 8:00am-6:00pm weekday, 9:00am-3:00pm Saturday, drainage board approved.
