Acadia, age 6, earned her angel wings on Saturday, April 6, 2024. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Acadia was a kindergarten student at Hammond Eastside and a dance student at A Touch of Class. Acadia overflowed with personality. She was truly unique to herself and always shared her silly sayings and thoughts with everyone. Acadia loved superheroes, every Disney princess, and Wednesday Adams. She enjoyed playing Roblox with her besties and watching her YouTube videos. Acadia adored her baby sister and all her animals but completely idolized her Daddy. When getting ready for the day, she was happiest being twinsies with her Mommy. She was so full of life and faced every battle with the utmost strength and courage. Acadia was a remarkable little girl who left her family with so many happy memories. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her parents, Amber and Jake LaBranche; sister, Billie 'Sissy' LaBranche; grandparents, Ashley 'Nana' and Rusty 'Honey' Remondet, Patty 'Pa-Pat' and Timmy 'Popsadoodle' LaBranche; aunts, Abby 'BB' Remondet, Stephanie 'Stephie' LaBranche (Billy), and Shelley LeBlanc (Chadd); uncles, Jared 'Jerry' Remondet and Scooter LaBranche (Olga); godparents, Megan 'Nanny' Remondet and Earl 'PanPan' Harris Jr.; cousins, Blaise, McKenzie, Kaydee, TumTum, Blaire, Connor, Lala, Stevie, Killian, and Zac-ee; great grandparents, Granny and Mr. Will, Paw Paw Bimbo and Mimi, Paw Paw Bruce and Maw Maw Joyce; four-legged brothers, Brewsky, Grizzly, and Beaux; and her bunny rabbit, HP.
Acadia is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Shirley Donald Haywood Sr. (Granny and Grampy), Paulette Remondet (Mama's Honey), and Agnes Roland LaBranche Sr. (Maw Maw and Paw Paw), and her great uncle, Jason Simon.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Association for Glycogen Storage Disease at www.agsdus.org/. Donate in honor of Acadia.
