Iris Kemp Edwards, of Bedico, Louisiana, passed away at her residence on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born on Sunday, November 23, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Iris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Rick Reneau; son & daughter-in-law, Patrick and Melinda Edwards; son & daughterin- law, Jeffrey and Anna Edwards; grandchildren, Jacob Edwards, Tyler Edwards, Jake Reneau, Kayla Edwards, and Riley Reneau; and her brothers, Franklin Kemp Jr., and Jerry Brumfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, Franklin “Newton” Kemp Sr.; mother and stepfather, Augusta Perilloux Brumfield and Wilkie Brumfield; and her sister, Camille Kemp Keen.
A private graveside service will be held at the Stanga Cemetery in Bedico, LA.
Interment will follow at Stanga Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry
