RUSSELL ARMAND MAYEUR, III

Russell Armand Mayeur, III passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 57. He was born on Monday, June 19, 1967, in New Orleans and resided in Ponchatoula. Russell is the owner of RAM Properties with his wife, Stacey. He was an avid Saints football fan and proud member of the KISS Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his daughter play softball and was a proud dugout dad. His most recent passion was working as an umpire through the LHSAA.

Russell was very involved in the Tangipahoa Parish community and was a kind-hearted man who was always helping people. Nothing made him happier than spending time at home with all his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed every chance he could get to his fishing camp and his property in Branson, MO.

Russell is survived by his wife of 20 years, Stacey Levin Mayeur; children, Meghean Mayeur Sutton (Stephen), Russell A. Mayeur, IV (Katie), Mason Villa, Noah Mayeur, and Leah Mayeur; siblings, Andrea Mayeur Williams (Carl), Elizabeth Mayeur Hasselgren (Dustin), LaDenna Mayeur Piper (Walter), and Wayne Carriker (Sherry); grandchildren, Blaklyn, Rowan, Brooks, Marceline, Collins, and Atticus; and grandmother, Eloise Kelly Mayeur. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Rylee Amanda Mayeur; mother and stepfather, Mary Catherine Castagnetta D’Amico and Rosario D’Amico; and father and stepmother, Russell A. Mayeur, Jr. and Judith Mayeur.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at The Mission Church, 41347 West I-55 Service Road, Hammond, Louisiana 70403 on Thursday, February 27, 2025. The visitation will begin at 12:00pm followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00pm.

Russell’s wish was to make a mission trip with Commission Mankind. In lieu of flowers, the Mayeur family is requesting donations to Commission Mankind in memory of Russell to support their mission which was close to his heart.
