William “Bronco” H.J. Hagen

William “Bronco” H.J. Hagen passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was born on Thursday, June 1, 1950, in Hoboken, New Jersey, to the late Ethel Bankston Hagen and the late Herman Hagen. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

William loved traveling and working. He worked for Acadian Hardwood & Cypress for 20 years. He dedicated his free time to the Lions Club, as well as the Pine Grove Mason Lodge. He loved to ride his motorcycle with the Goldwing Group. He had a big heart and would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone. William has plenty of awards: perfect attendance, safety awards, awards from the Lions Club and his Mason Lodge, as well as car shows. William drove in Mardi Gras parades, was a security guard for events, and striped parking lots. He also enjoyed working at the Renaissance Festival and parking cars at the Strawberry Festival and on Cinco de Mayo at Mi Patio. He would also deliver fireworks for Pyro City twice a year. Most of all, William loved his friends and family.

William is survived by his wife, Joan Hagen; children, Cindy K. Morgan (Duke McKinney), and Angela Drumheller (Kevin); step-children, Jesse Antill, Athony Antill, Tina Easley (Brian), and Ricky Easley; grandchildren, Donald Morgan (Kassidy), Austin Drumheller, Cody Drumheller, Conner W. Morgan, Brittany Kohn, Emilee Easley, Andrew Easley, Lauren Easley, Camden Easley, and Ryan Easley; great-grandchildren, Klaira, Landon, and Amelia; and personal friend, Mary Picou.
