Salvador “Sal” Perez, a resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at his home.
He was born May 24, 1941, in Amite, LA, and was 82 years of age. Sal was a U. S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his brother, Larry Perez, and wife, Annie; two sisters, Amelia Toten and Anna Castella; numerous nieces and nephews; stepdaughter, Richelle Corkern Hoover, and husband, Michael; step-grandchildren, Stephenie Reid (Gabriel), Lane Hoover, John Hoover, Brianna Folse (Austin), Thomas Corkern, Dakota Corkern, and Leighann Corkern; and step-great-grandchildren, Ellie Mae Reid and Leon Folse.
