TOWN OF KENTWOOD
The Town of Kentwood will accept sealed bids for the purchase, as is, of 5.03
acres, M/L, Section 29, T1S, R7E, Town of Kentwood, Tangipahoa Parish
Assessment # 97705, and all improvements thereon (commonly known as the
Kentwood Nursing Home) and subject to all leases and servitudes thereon,
located at 912 Avenue G, Kentwood, LA 70444 until 4:00 p.m. on March 6, 2025.
The minimum bid amount is $1,200,000.00. The delivery of the sealed bids can be
hand delivered or certified mail to Town of Kentwood, 308 Ave G, Kentwood, LA
70444. If certified mail, please send early so the bids are received in the office by
4:00 p.m. Late Bids will not be accepted.
If the Bidder wants to appraise the property, the Town of Kentwood shall be
provided with a copy of the appraisal.
Within one week of the awarding of the Bid, the winning Bidder shall submit to
the Town a purchase agreement and a deposit of $10,000.00 in the form of a
cashier’s check payable to the Town of Kentwood.
The purchase agreement shall provide for the Bidder to pay all closing costs and
that the closing shall occur no later than Ninety (90) days after the bid is
accepted.
At the closing, payment must be in the form of a Certified Cashier’s Check.

The latest date to view the property is February 28, 2025.
The Town of Kentwood reserves the right to reject any and all bids pursuant to
the law.
