The qualifying period for the 2025 Special Election, to be held on Saturday, March
29, 2025, will begin Wednesday, January 29, 2025, through Friday, January 31, 2025.
Hours for qualifying are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Persons interested in qualifying for the below offices shall qualify at the Clerk of
Court’s office in Amite, LA:
21st Judicial District Court Judge, Juvenile - Div “I”
Village of Tangipahoa, Alderman
The qualifying fee shall be paid in cash or by certified or cashier’s check on a state or
national bank or credit union, United States postal money order, or a money order issued by a
state or national bank or credit union. Valid identification is required.
