The Louisiana Constitution requires all property subject to taxation to be appraised at least once
every four (4) years, and 2024 is a year of reassessment. The Board of Commissioners for
Tangipahoa Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8,
2024, at 210 N. E. Central Avenue, Amite, LA 70422 to consider adopting the authorized levy of
10.000 mills for 2024.
