Monthly Council Meeting Minutes
The Village of Tickfaw Council met in a monthly meeting at 5:00pm on
November 10, 2025. Mayor Lamonte called the meeting to order, Councilman
Fedele, Councilman Lemay, Chief DiBenedetto, and Attorney Trippi all were
present. Councilman Galofaro was absent. All present received and reviewed
the monthly financial statements. The invocation was done by Mayor
Lamonte followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

a.) Greater St. James Church Addition
-Planning and Zoning gave a recommendation to the Council to Approve the
application for the addition of Greater St. James Baptist Church. Motion was made
to approve by Lemay 2 nd Fedele Votes:2
b.) Jose & Gina Peraza
- Planning and Zoning gave a recommendation to the Council to Approve the
application for the home and shop plans for Mr. and Mrs. Peraza. Motion was made
to approve by Fedele 2 nd Lemay Votes:2

a) Dorothy Lane Matter
- No Update
b) Update on Love’s Truck Stop
- Loves’s received a 6 mo. Extension on Property Purchase Agreement. They are
still waiting at Parish Permits. More updates by first of the year.
c) Approve or Deny the Ordinance for Parking on Village of Tickfaw Property
- Motion to approve made by Fedele 2 nd Lemay Votes: 2
d) Approve or Deny the Ordinance for Occupational License
- Motion to approve made by Lemay 2 nd Fedele Votes: 2
e) Discussion of date and time for Tickfaw Christmas Parade
- Hunter Malnar and Chief DiBenedetto notified all in attendance that the parade
will be on December 14 th at 5:30pm. Line up will start at 3pm starting at
Sparacello.
10. New Business-
a) Discussion and setting of pricing for Tickfaw’s Certificate of
Appropriateness
- Tabled for a Special Meeting. Date and time to be announced.

- Nothing to Report

- Mayor is soon meeting with Village Engineer and Jamie Watson on new business
coming to the Village .
