FY 2026 LCDBG Public Facilities Application Available for Review
Town of Roseland, Louisiana
The Town of Roseland, LA, announces that an application for FY 2026 Louisiana Community
Development Block Grant (LCDBG) funds will be submitted for the following:
ACTIVITY: LCDBG funds will be used for
WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
OBJECTIVE: To ensure a consistent and safe water supply for customers of the
Town of Roseland Water System, which are predominantly
low/moderate income residents; accomplished by replacing
approximately 21,120 linear feet of 6-inch C900 PVC water lines,
valves, and fire hydrants.
LOCATION: Proposed improvements will take place in two low-to-moderate
income areas serviced by the Town of Roseland's water system.
Area 1 - Roseland Avenue, Sawdust Lane, Solomon Lane, Central
Avenue, Church Street (Roseland Ave. to Central Ave.), Buchanan
Lane, Turner Chapel Road, Faith Street, and Garrick Lane. Area 2
- Mount Gillion Church Road (Highway 1048 to Arcola Road).
AMOUNT: $ 1,829,190.00 Water System Improvements
$ 1,829,190.00 Total LCDBG funds being requested
All citizens, particularly persons of low and moderate income and residents of blighted areas, are
encouraged to review and submit their comments by December 8, 2025:

The application is to be submitted to the Division of Administration, Office of Community
Development, on December 9, 2025. A copy of the application will be available for review at the
Roseland Town Hall, 62438 Commercial Street, Roseland, LA, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday, beginning December 1, 2025.
