NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Tangipahoa Parish Rural Fire
Protection District No. 2 will hold a public hearing at the Tangipahoa Parish Gordon A. Burgess
Governmental Building, 206 East Mulberry Street, Amite, Louisiana, for the purposes of (1)
ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2026
AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2026, and, (2) ADOPTING THE AMENDED ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2025 AND ENDING DECEMBER
31, 2025. The board of commissioners will meet on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
at the Tangipahoa Parish Gordon A. Burgess Governmental Building, 206 East Mulberry Street,
Amite, Louisiana, at which time a public hearing will be held on the adoption of the proposed
operating budget for 2026 and the amended operating budget for 2025. Anyone with comments
may appear before the board of commissioners at this time. Copies of the proposed operating
budget for 2026 and the proposed amended budget for 2025 may be reviewed at the offices of
the Tangipahoa Parish Government, 206 East Mulberry Street, Amite, Louisiana.
