Request for Proposal (RFP)
– Disaster Recovery – Hazardous Tree Identification/
Documentation and Supervision of Contract Personnel
The purpose and intention of this invitation is to provide
Hazardous Tree Identification Services for DEMCO
Hurricane Ida Project 751768-Dead Tree Removal:
Hazardous Tree Identification and Documentation by
Licensed Arborist.
Submittals will be received by DEMCO
Until 12:00 p.m. CDT, on Thursday, March 5, 2026
Any proposals received after this
time will not be considered.
Contractor should be prepared to provide
qualified/licensed personnel and equipment
sufficient to identify and document required
information associated with hazardous trees
related to the project. In addition, Contractor
shall provide equipment, software, and
personnel sufficient to accurately record,
monitor, and supervise the removal of
hazardous trees related to the project. The
contractor shall provide a daily work plan
to DEMCO which shall include, but not be
limited to a daily roster, type of work being
performed, and work location. Contractor
supplied laptops shall be used by each
arborist to perform planned work uploads
daily.

Proposals shall be submitted electronically
through Euna/Bonfire. In the event of
technical difficulties, respondents may
contact DEMCO Purchasing at purchasing@
demco.org for assistance.
Respondents are responsible for monitoring
the Bonfire portal for addenda and
procurement updates.
This procurement shall be conducted
in accordance with 2 CFR Part 200 and
all applicable federal, state, and local
regulations.
All respondents must not be debarred or
suspended from participation in federal
programs. Verification will be conducted
through SAM.gov.
DEMCO reserves the right to consider and/or reject
any and all submittals in accordance with Louisiana
Public Bid Law.
