Office of Coastal Management (OCM) of the Department of Energy and Natural Resources received a request
for a Public Hearing concerning the following application for a Coastal Use Permit. Interested parties are
hereby notified that a Joint Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 5:00 PM at New Wine

Maurepas, LA. Description: Proposed clean energy facility for production of low-carbon hydrogen and low-
carbon ammonia with access to deep-water river and rail transportation networks, proposed 24-inch carbon
dioxide pipeline (±38 miles), proposed 24-inch hydrogen pipeline (±2 miles) and proposed 4-inch natural gas
pipeline (±19 miles) with pig launchers/receivers, cathodic protection and aboveground pipeline facilities,
mainline valve sites, staging and laydown facilities; temporary and permanent access roads; proposed carbon
sequestration site (South and North Maurepas Injection platforms) with up to ten (10) injection wells and up to
six (6) monitoring wells including wellhead platforms, injection control platforms with fiber optic cables and six-
inch distribution pipelines; and propwashing. Approximately 1,213,966 cubic yards of native material will be
excavated and placed on site and approximately 1,020,741 cubic yards of non-native fill materials will be
required during construction activities.
