The Town of Roseland is announcing the scheduling of a public hearing/ meeting for the 2025 Millage.
The public hearing, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Roseland Chambers located at
62438 Commercial Street, Roseland, LA 70456, to obtain the citizens views on Resolution No. 1-2025 -
adopting the millage rate(s} for the tax year 2025; and on Resolution No. 2-2025 - setting forth the adjusted
millage rate(s} and roll forward to millage rate(s} not exceeding the maximum authorized rate(s).
After the resolutions are adopted, the entire millage packet will be forwarded to the Tangipahoa Parish
Assessor's Office. The Assessor's Office will combine the Town rates with other taxing entities' rates to create
a complete tax roll for the parish. The Assessor's Office will also send all the millage packets and the tax roll to
the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office for review and approval. Once this review is complete, the tax roll will
be returned to the Assessor's Office so that local taxing entities can begin sending property tax notices to
residents at scheduled date.
