Between the hours prescribed by law, beginning at ten o’clock a.m., the following mentioned and described property situated in the Parish of Tangipahoa, State of Louisiana, to-wit:
A one (1) acre+ tract described as follows:
Commence at the northeast corner of a tract described as follows:
21.5 acres, more or less, in section 7, T1S, R8E, described as commencing at a point 10.9 chains east of the Northwest corner of Lot 4, on the East line of the Isaac Cutrer headright, thence South 20 chains, thence East 2.5 chains, thence North 20 chains, thence West 2.5 chains to the Point of Beginning, comprising an area of 5 acres: Start at same starting point thence North 10 chains, thence south 60 degrees East 4.5 chains, thence North 32 1/2 degrees East 8 chains, thence South 75 1/4 degrees East 6.25 chains, thence Southeasterly along the old Morris Road approximately 2.5 chains to the Northwest corner of the Resor property, thence south 12 degrees 26 minutes west 815.82 feet thence west 14 chains to the point of beginning, comprising an area of 16.5 acres in Section 7, T1S, R8E, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.
From the Northeast corner of the above described 21.5 acres, go thence Northwest along Morris Road approximately 2.5 chains, thence North 75 1/4 degrees west 150 feet (2.27 chains) to the actual point of beginning of the one (1) acre tract conveyed herein; thence north 75 1/4 degrees west 208.71 feet (3.16 chains) to the fence corner; thence south 14 3/4 degrees west 208.71 feet (3.16 chains); thence south 75 1/4 east 208.71 feet (3.16 chains); thence north 14 3/4 degrees east 208.7 feet (3.16 chains) to the Point of Beginning, comprising an area of 1.0 acres. Subject to a permanent reservation of mineral rights by the State of Louisiana bearing patent Number 15356 dated January 24, 1949 (all oil, gas and other minerals in and under the above described immovable property are vested in the State of Louisiana, and no oil, gas or other minerals are being transferred herein). Being the same property “less and excepted” from that certain Sale and Mortgage recorded as CIN 282218, as corrected at CIN 286536, and the same property inherited by Ted Arthur Dykes, Sr. by Judgment of Possession recorded as Instrument number 715338, in COB 1051, page 134, Tangipahoa Parish records.
WRIT AMOUNT: ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY-THREE AND 27/100 ($120,853.27)
TERMS: CASH in the form of currency, certified funds or letter of credit, subject to any security interest, mortgage lien, or privilege thereon superior to that of the seizing creditor, to the last and highest bidder WITH the benefit of appraisement and according to law.
