The Board of Commissioners met in regular session in the Meeting Room of the St. Helena Fire
District #4, located at Highway 37, Greensburg, LA on Monday, August 4, @ 6 p.m.
The invocation was led by Qunika Muse, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call was taken by Secretary Katrena Higginbotham- with Sheila Kinchen, Carmen Overton, Dianne Washington, Brad Graves, and Katrena Higginbotham. Kitty Newell, and Ronald Carlin were absent.
Discussion was held with Roderick Matthews OAP director as a resolution was passed for the Policy Jury to serve as the interim administrator along with the Fire District Board.
A motion was made by Sheila Kinchen, seconded by Diane Washington to approve minutes from July 28,2025 with any, and all corrections 3 Yays, 1 Absent, 0 Abstained.
A motion was made by Sheila Kinchen, seconded by Diane Washington to approve the resignation letter from Eric Washington as president 3 Yays, 1 Absent, 0 Abstained.
A motion was made by Sheila Kinchen, seconded by Carmen Overton to adopt the resolution for the sale of the equipment. 3 Yays, 1 Absent, 0 Abstained
A motion was made by Sheila Kinchen, seconded by Diane Washington to add Carmen Overton to all business accounts. 3 Yays, 1 Absent, 0 Abstained
Next meeting date was set for August 25,2025@6:00pm
A motion was made by Carmen Overton, seconded by Sheila Kinchen to adjourn the meeting.
