The Board of Commissioners met in regular session in the Meeting Room of the St. Helena Fire
District #4, located at Highway 37, Greensburg, LA on Monday, July 28,2025 @ 6 p.m.
The invocation was led by Carmen Overton, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call was taken by Secretary Katrena Higginbotham - with Sheila Kinchen, Carmen Overton, Katrena Higginbotham, Kitty Newell, Diane Washington, and Bradley Graves. Eric Washington and Ronld Carlin were absent.
Discussion was held regarding the resignation of Eric Washington as President. Chief Bradley Graves will reach out to Mr. Washington to obtain the letter of resignation.
A motion was made by Diane Washington seconded by Sheila Kinchen to name Carmen Overton as President.
A motion was made by Carmen Overton, seconded by Diane Washington to nominate Sheila Kinchen as Vice President.
A motion was made by Carmen Overton, seconded by Sheila Kinchen to approve minutes from June 16, 2025 with any, and all corrections. 3 yays, 2 Absent, 0 Abstained
A motion was made by Carmen Overton to approve the financial statement from the CPA Kitty Newel with the amended budget and the 2024 audit with an ending balance of $44,863 for July. 3 yays, 2 Absent, 0 Abstained.
An update was given on the status of the insurance for trucks and buildings.
A discussion was held regarding EMS there will be an open floor discussion at the special that will be held on 08/04/2025 @6:00 pm
A motion was made by Carmen, seconded by Sheila Kinchen to adjourn the meeting.
