SLU Hosts Redbirds, Lions Honored by the SLC

Tomorrow, the 15th ranked Southeastern Lion football team returns to the postseason after a 2-year absence when they welcome in the Illinois State Redbirds from the Missouri Football Conference.

Green Wave Basketball lost two tough games against great teams to start off the season last week: Tuesday at De La Salle-25-66 Friday vs Northshore-59-92 Landen Brown and Anthoni Toefield had great showings against Northshore, scoring 12 and 10 each. This week, the boys are off for Thanksgiving.

Tulane Defeats Temple for Ninth Win

Tulane quarterback Jake Retzlaff passed for two touchdowns and ran for another score, as No. 24 Tulane beat the Temple Owls 37-13 on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia to move one step closer to the American Conference championship game.Tulane is now 9-2 overall and 6-1 in the American Conference.

Tulane Defeats Florida Atlantic at the Ocean

The Tulane Green Wave defeated the Florida Atlantic University Owls 35-24 on homecoming at the Ocean in front of a sellout crowd on Saturday.Tulane is now 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the American Conference. Tulane is tied for second place in the conference, a half-game behind Navy.

Green Wave Basketball took part in the Hannan Jamboree against Independence last Thursday night and won a hard-fought game by a final score of 43-37. The game was two 10-minute halves.

Lions Rebound at UIW

The Southeastern Lion football team rebounded from their first Southland Conference loss with a 10-7 squeaker on the road at Incarnate Word on Saturday. With the victory, SLU improved to 8-3 and 6-1 in the SLC, keeping alive an outside chance at a tie for a Conference Football Championship.

Tulane Defeats Nationally Ranked Memphis

The Tulane Green Wave defeated the Memphis Tigers 38-32 in college football action at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee on Friday night.
