The Tulane Green Wave went back to their winning ways defeating the Tulsa Golden Hurricane 31-14 at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa in the team’s first American Conference game of the season on Saturday.The Green Wave now have a record of 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the American Conference.

Lee McBride’s Lady Lion volleyball team began their quest for their third straight Southland Conference title with a pair of 3-0 sweeps to begin SLC play. The home wins over McNeese and Nicholls snapped a 4-match losing streak and brought SLU’s record to 10-4 on the year.
