Saints 24 - Giants 6Last week, our heroes slayed the cave panthers and took over their domain. After a muchneeded rest, the team bundled up in their panther’s coats. The group begins moving down the mountain when a ferocious roar comes from the cave.

Ponchatoula Girls and Boys Basketball Repeat as Parish Champions

Starting with the boys, the team picked up a great win at home against Archbishop Rummel last Tuesday, 71-56. Allen Graves led all scorers with 27 points, twelve rebounds, and five blocks. Graves surpassed 1000 points for his high school career, adding another accolade to his historic four years.

Lions Hoops

The road woes for the Southeastern Louisiana Lions Basketball continued with a 69-44 loss to Southern over the weekend. Cold shooting in the first half saw SLU dig themselves into too big of a hole to climb out of, resulting in the Green & Gold’s fall to 2-7 on the year.

Lady Lions Hoops

A road trip to the Sunflower State saw the Lady Lion Basketball split a pair against Wichita State and the Kansas Jayhawks to close out November. The split puts the defending Southland Champions at 4-4 on the year, going into a two-week break for finals.
