Green Wave Boys Basketball went 0-2 in the Walker Christmas Tournament losing to Live Oak on Monday and U-High on Tuesday.Vs Live Oak- 39-67 L Will Walker- 15 points Vs U-High- 40-65 L The boys fall to 3-8 on the season.

Last week, our heroes were able to take down a Jet flying over the island and began rebuilding it as an escape vehicle. During the repair process the group needs to find a fresh supply of fuel. They venture down into an abandoned mine looking for an oil deposit.

2025 Tangipahoa Parish Basketball Tournament

Green Wave boys’ basketball finished 2-1 in the tournament by beating Sumner in the first round, losing to a really good Independence team in the second round, and defeating Amite in the third-place game. Will Walker was also named to the All-Tournament team.

Lady Lions Hoops

On the women’s side, Coach Jeff Dow’s Lady Lions rounded out the 2025 home slate in a narrow loss to the Memphis Tigers of the American Conference, 70-66.Early on, both teams scored early and often. SLU held a 20-18 lead after the first quarter.

Green Wave Boys Basketball picked up their first win of the season last week on Tuesday defeating NOMMA in blowout fashion 64-36. Will Walker finished with 13 points. Kye Toliver and Josef Kelly also had 10 points each. The boys are now 1-5 on the season.

Tulane Has a New Football Coach

On Monday, December 8, Will Hall was named the new football head coach at Tulane University.Hall was promoted from his position as Tulane’s passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach.
