Just before 6:00pm on August 26, 2024, Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop A responded to a two-vehicle crash on LA 43 near Turkey Creek Road in Livingston Parish. The crash claimed the life of 47 YO Raymond Lexia, Jr., of Independence.

What Makes a House a HOME

Today, we threw a party at our place. It was a proper, full-blown family gathering. It was all for my nephew’s daughter’s first birthday, a milestone worthy of all the fuss and fanfare. Now, my nephew’s immediate family resides in Texas, but the extended clan lives in our surrounding area.
